A background in Architecture and Photography , then Film School in his native New Zealand set up Jase perfectly for his cinematographic and photographic career - initially as an assistant for some of the highest profile DoP's and Photographers worldwide.
Camera Operating and shooting 2nd unit in the TV Commercials world followed and Jase's distinctive visual style naturally led him on to shooting Music Videos , Fashion Films, Commercials and high-end Branded Content and Events.  Jase is passionate about visual storytelling ...and he's consistent and tenacious in helping bring his Client's and Director's visions to life.

I’ve been working with Jason on a brand new series for the Discovery Science Channel called 'Strange Evidence'.     Jason undoubtedly has a great eye.           He shot dynamic science demos, inventive actuality sequences and beautiful interview set ups in challenging locations.    He is quick, can multi-task and is unflappable under pressure.  Most importantly he is an absolute pleasure to work with and is now top of my list of DoP’s.
